Kids cooking clubs start again this week and I can't wait. I love getting kids into the kitchen, their enthusiasm is so infectious and it's great to see them so proud and excited when creations come out of the oven ready to eat. I create sweet and savoury recipes so everything can be done without needing electric mixers or fancy gadgets and the kids get to take home anything from cheese scones, soda breads, mini quiches, through to rolo cookies, cinnamon plum puffs, apple crumble cakes and so much in between.
I've got so many happy memories of baking at home when I was young and I love that I can give a little bit of that to others through school cooking clubs and weekend workshops.
