Chocolate Prices still Rising!

With cocoa prices sky-rocketing we're all having to pay a little more for chocolate. However, this week a bar of chocolate was set to be auctioned for around $1000 and wouldn't even make a tasty treat.

A tin of Rowntree Chocolate dating back to 1900 with Queen Victoria embossed on the tin is to be auctioned along with 2 medals and the note the soldier scribbled to his wife when he posted the chocolate. Martha, his wife, received the parcel but just nibbled the chocolate and cherished the rest, a will power way beyond anyone in this house!
